Paxton's Farm Meat
Ian Paxton has been farming at Long Slack Farm since 1997, running an all grass system raising beef cattle, sheep, pigs and a flock of free range hens.
In March 2007, Ian decided to diversify to try to make ends meet, and opened a Farm Shop at Long Slack, offering a range of beef, pork and lamb.
Ian approached us at the Dale Stores, Birstwith to see if we would stock his products.
Ian’s farm is only two miles away from the shop, and having tried his superb range of sausages, beef and pork, we were more than happy to support his new venture.
Now, Ian’s business has grown to such an extent that he has developed a production facility on his farm and no longer needs to rely on third parties to produce his wares.
